Um, let's see. You... have this tendency to insert these small nearly parenthetical phrases into your writing, and they will usually be sort of offhandedly poetic, and they always do something to just make the story click. I don't know anyone else who does that exactly like you do and it's one of my favourite things about your writing.

Also SCIENCE! SCIENCE! SCIENCE!

Also really rich descriptions in an economy of langage - when an economy is necessary. It is awesome.
