life is goooood
I'm thrilled! Nick and I are going to bartending school!!! We went all over the place trying to add classes at the JC, buying books, 99 cent store shopping, lunch, and then to the Anaheim campus where we signed up for bartending.
I am SO excited! It starts on the 16th, and I cannot wait any longer! When you complete the class you get your certificate too, so that means I can either find a place to hire me illegally for about 6 months or when I turn 21 I'll be prepared for a job. Hoorah! It would be soooo nice to be making a lot of money!
But, in the meantime, I am potentially one of 4 hosts to be promoted to serving this coming week. We took our server tests last week and I was the 3rd highest with an 89.3! It was a ridiculously hard test with about 100 questions. They are grading us in 4 different categories...The test, which I did well on, our secret shopper reports, I got a 98%..FOH awarness, which I have a couple of crappy situations with..and overall, how you work with other team members and guests, and stuff. One of the managers says that I am one of the 4 being considered, and I think I did a really good job fountaining last night, and I picked up a Monday shift tomorrow, which will be good because the manager's meeting is on Tuesday. So, I've got all of tomorrow to prove myself. I hope I'm not getting my hopes up too much. I could really use all the money I'd be making as a waitress though.
