(no subject)
this has been the longest four days of my life. i swear i feel like i've lived here for months by now. then i think about it, and it was only day two when the roommates boyfriend comes, day three when he comes again and spends the night, and day four where i'm pretty sure they'll hang out all day and then he'll stay the night again. So its kinda like having an extra roommate, sorta.
I really like it here, don't get me wrong. But sitting here for the last couple of days has showed me a lot, and its not really what i expected. Yah, i walk a lot, but its not really that bad, i don't feel that campus is too big, cuz i've already kinda learned my way around, or atleast to the important things, minus the library. I know where my classes are though.
Its really easy to spend money too. I mean everywhere, there is a delicious cafe, restraunt, or ice cream parlor calling your name. So far, i've only spent my money on books, so i feel as though i'm doing good.
I'm also glad that Emily is here. I know i wanted to get a way from whitehall, but knowing 1 person makes me feel a little better. Its hard, there are so many people its hard to make friends.
Last night i made a bowl of spanish rice, put on t he colbert report and played some sudoku thinking i'd have a nice night in. My suitemate came in and called me a hermit and told me i had to leave, hence, last night wasn't really that great lol.
I just need to make some friends, thats all.
I can't wait for labor day weekend. It seems sooo far away, yet so close.
