Color Snob

I'm a color snob.  Out of all the color choices I have, I prefer the blues. But not the light, sky, or baby versions. No, give me the cobalts, the midnights, and the twilights.

Of course right now I have also developed a love for the BEAUTIFUL chocolate colored seed beads (yep I'm working on seed beads now), which I am making a woven bracelet with some large wooden beads.  I'm calling it Wood and Chocolate (I'd call it blood and chocolate, but there isn't enough red in it).

Oh and I've recently discovered that I like the wood/seed bead mix. The wooden beads are so light, I've made a couple of bracelets that weigh next to nothing.

And if anyone is interested in seeing said bracelets you can come to Anime Banzai this Friday and Saturday at the Sheraton Hotel in SLC. I and my artist friend will be promoting our new webcomic, his other webcomic, and my beadwork. (animebanzai.org for details on the con)

And soon I will be putting up my BeadGeek website (if it isn't already taken). When it does go live I'll let ya'all know, so that you can watch my progression as a bead artist. If you want.

And if I make anything that you want to buy - you will be able to.  That'll be the beauty of it. My goal is to BEAD THE WORLD!!!!! ^_^ Crazy that those tiny things with holes would end up being the thing I want to spend my life mastering. There is a music in them that I absolutely love. The grace of on and off loom techniques, the color, the symmetry, the asymmetry for that matter, I feel like Mole from Atlantis. ^_^ "I'm so excited!"
