(no subject)
i am almost done with my portfolio for the quarter in The Writing Experience!!! just two more papers to write and they only take like 20 minutes if i REALLY think about them which i won't.
HOWEVER! my internal clock (not to be confused with my biological clock) was just thrown off because in my head i was like "it's 9:30" and then i looked down and my computer was like "BEEOTCH IT'S 10:30!!!" and i checked MY clock (which read 9:30) and ran to the calandar (and it's not daylight savings time yet) and then i cursed my computer forevermore!
so i had a dream last night that i went on the German exchange again. when we got there we were allowed to roam free and a group of girls and i broke into a church and had a tea party. while we were tring to escape we ran into a priest and he only spoke German (which is odd for the Germans) and he couldn't understand MY German (i'm not sure why i was the only one in the group that could speak it.) So we ran away and went back to where we were meeting Frau and our host families, but it turned out that they couldn't find a host family with a student for me, so i was being housed with this creepy 30s pedephile(sp?) man and he was skinny and had a combover and he wore glasses and he didn't want to feed me and i had to lock myself in my room for fear he would rape me.
in other raping news i had to get my tires changed today. i went to the place where i was stranded with Liam and Jay on halloween because Liam's car exploded. when i made the appointment on the phone i gave them my name and they were like "Oh, your dad was in here a little while ago.......are you Snow White?" AAAAHHHHH!!!! i thought i was going to die. (not from embarrassment, but literally.) so i wanted Jay to come with me, but Eric came as protection instead. they were all like "Hey Snow White, how ya doing?" "Whatcha gonna be for Halloween next year?" "Ya gonna come by and show us?" so i thought i was to be killed, but then they had one look at Eric, sitting in a chair, doing his German homework and they were like "Back off bitches, this bitch has backup!" and they worked on my car instead.
so today i got my letter from Barnard. i didn't get in, but it's ok. like really, i don't need any "aw, i'm sorry"s cause i really don't let things like this bother me. but i DID get more from NYU and they want me to be in their honors program which is comprised of about 65 students and it would be REALLY cool. plus they wanna give me a merit scholarship on top of my need-based financial aid, which is good, cause my need-based is NOTHIN! (ok, not quite, but close).
sooooo....i think that's enough. i'm totally procrastinating on my homework.
