Today has overall been good. It included sleeping in in the sun, a nice long snuggle with Matt and Zhenya, presents for both puppy (a new nylabone) and kitten (a catnip scratching post), and a great thanksgiving dinner at Backspace with a bunch of J.me's friends. I deleted all of the self-pitying entries I was thinking about posting last night. The gist of it is that I upped my hours from 40 to 50 a week and it's taking a toll on me. For our one year anniversary, we hiked with the dog, watched Star Trek, napped, and cooked a fancy dinner (Oooo, Hollandaise!). Here's to a few more of these.

Matt and I visited a Siberian cattery this afternoon and proved once and for all (by way of a snorgle test) that Matt is not allergic to Siberian cats.

Well, I've now proven that whatever Matt has isn't food poisoning. It's five days later and now I've got it. Sadly, I'm not the only person who needed to call in sick at work, so I'm guessing they're a little frantic.
