I feel like I should post again...
Well, the no internet at home thing is turning into a no internet anywhere thing. Between work, school, homework, and trying to get a reasonable amount of sleep, I barely get to look at the internet anymore. So here's a little update on the happenings in, on, and around Vera-ville.
Decibel is growing and growing and growing! He's grown out of the screaming phase and is now in a cooing phase. He's weaned on to canned food, which he eats by burying his torso in it, and has been viral tested. He's hung out a little bit with Zhenya, Gandalf, and Marie, to varying degrees of cat-socializing success.
School is interesting/fun/shamelessly easy/kicking my ass. This is the first time in my life that I've cared about my grades. I'm actually putting effort into beating the system instead of into learning the material. I have mixed feelings about this, but I'm getting A's in both my classes, so yay? Some part of me wonders if I'm only able to game the system because I already know the material. I might be able to test the theory next term.
Work is stressing me out, but I feel like I'm learning something new and useful every day. It's a little good and a little bad.
I'll leave it at that.
