bits and pieces about current me
There was a spider building a web on my driver's side mirror for a week. I thought about knocking it off because spiders creep me out, but it hung on so valiantly while I was driving on the highway, so I let it be. It started raining in the middle of the week and when I got to my car at the end of the day, the spider and the web were gone.
Matt came down with a really nasty cold last week. It took him out of commission for a number of days in a row. I finally picked up my version of the same cold and it took me out of commission for the weekend that I was supposed to go down to Portland to visit people. So that sucked... I still haven't figured out a good time to go down since then.
The office I'm working for just moved to a new location. This past week has been a whole lot of "hurry up and wait!" while I helped people with stuff and worked out move issues. On Friday I packed up (with some help) the entire wall of 300+ construction binders on to some library carts. My whole office is in bins. Tomorrow I get to unpack it all! :-D
Yesterday I had another episode of a particular malady. I won't give any details for the sake of TMI penalties, but it was the worst I've ever had. So yesterday was shot...
On the front of good things:
I've been remembering to pray every morning, even if I don't do it at my altar, I do it in the car on the way to work. I've been eating much healthier these past two weeks, too, so besides actual illness, I've been feeling really good. Yay me!
So those are some bits and pieces.
