tidbits
-November this year was full of very pleasing numbers. Jenn's wedding was 11/3/07 and my birthday was 11/13/07. Just look at those wonderful primes! Every day this month I was excited to write the date on people's charts at work because they were all beautiful combinations of numbers. The next November that will happen will be 09, but it will be a totally different flavor.
-Baldr is completely and utterly confused by the sleeves on my big CWRU sweatshirt. I've been wearing it since it's been cold, but he can't figure out that if my hands are hidden in the sleeves, it's still attached to me. This leads to him snapping playfully at my hands and getting super excited. Earlier today he got so excited he did a fancy little leap in the air and head butted me in the stomach.
-I have commissioned a cat tree for Miss Zhenya, who has outgrown the temporary perch we made out of a nightstand and a cardboard box. It'll be 7 feet tall and have a house at the top for her to eat in. The man who is making it advertised on CraigsList. When I finally talked to him on the phone I was shocked to discover he's got a thick Irish brogue. The whole business of a cat tree has made me giddy for two days straight.
