Verdict: 5 times awesome
Awesome things:
1) Bumblebee
2) CGI in general... never doubted it for a minute
3) Brief Star Trek reference when Ratchet is introduced
4) Shia LaBeouf
5) Totally awesome action
This is the sort of movie I could watch over and over and giggle every time at the same things.
Not awesome things:
1) Action sequences a little hard to follow with all the clouds of dust and screeching metal
2) Color coding the CGI characters is a little silly
3) Terrible, terrible "love story"
4) Cheesy exposition
5) Director and writers didn't fully take into account that Transformers fans are all in their 20s and 30s now
