Day 8 and 9

Oct 12, 2006 00:22

So yesterday I finally ascertained that my depression was hormonal, so I took a day off and babied myself. I walked down the street and got some fancy lotion from CVS and a mocha from Starbucks and sat around the apartment doing logic puzzles. Apparently that's what I do when I'm sad, logic puzzles. I didn't get a darned thing done and it was great. In the evening Robert and I watched an episode of CSI followed by two episodes of Will and Grace to wash it down. And drank vodka.

Today I went to the first rehearsal, which was the Bartok for this week's concerts. But I left early for my string of meetings with a Director of Strategic Planning (who is my ASOL Fellowship contact with the ASO), the General Manager, the Marketing Director, and the Personnel Manager. Then I read for a while and hung out with Robert and Alison in his dressing room. I learned that the librarian was offended that I didn't call him, so I'm going to call him first thing tomorrow morning to set up an appointment. It rained at some point while I was hanging out after the appointments, so Atlanta was cold and wet like summer when I got outside. Robert and I ordered a pizza and watched Without a Trace for a few hours. Then I ran over to CVS at 11 and now it's time to sleep early.
