EYE OF THE TIGER
Today marks the day I turn 31. I knooooow it's traditional to whine about age and being older and stuff, but...screw that! I TURNED 31 YAY!! I survived 31 years, and I'm damn proud of it. I nearly didn't!
Today is also free sushi day at Todai. :D I invited some coworkers to come with me and offered to split the bill so we all get a discount. I'm pretty excited. I actually forgot it was my birthday when I woke up until I saw turkish_delight's LJ post with the scrolling 'Happy Birthday'. Memory of a goldfish.
Seriously, though, I'm totally psyched to be alive today. I have a fantastic job with even better coworkers, amazing friends, a warm place to live with too many cats, and the best family I could ever hope to have. Can't really ask for more than this!
