Wherefore Twitter has long since overpowered my "real" entries on this journal; and as I don't see myself reducing the number of tweets per diem at any point in the near future; and recognizing that, in Journal format my tweets have degenerated into a nearly unreadable wall of text, more so than my formerly habitual livenovels:
Would it be desirable for me to stop my aggregated tweets from posting on livejournal?
As it stands, I have a multiple-tier approach to social networking sites. My tweets are collected and posted here once a day, and my livejournal entries (including tweets) are imported as notes on Facebook. I deleted my Myspace page many moons ago, on account of that site sucking large. I admit, I spend much more time on other sites these days, again because of their immediacy. LJ is great, but it (and its users) resists quick, real-time updates.
As an alternative, I could just try putting up a tweet widget back up on Facebook and eliminate the lj middle-man. My journal would become much quieter as a result, but at least you all wouldn't have to deal with Twitter noise.
Just a thought.
