My elderly neighbor just died. I honestly thought he'd be around a lot longer. Maybe another two years, for all that he was becoming so frail. He fell and hit his head while no one was there to catch him in time. A few hours later he died in the hospital of blood clots in the brain. The last couple of years were pretty bad. He honestly should have been in a nursing home. Altho, without the threat of having to spend hours a day with him, I may not be back in school at SFA. Mom spent much too much time helping care for him, for very little pay. When she wasn't available she attempted guilting me into helping as well. I was signed up and in Nacogdoches as soon as I could be. I adore Florence tho, I hope she'll be around a while yet.
