Happy Valentines everyone! ok I know it was yesterday but ah well. I had a very nice day, went out to sheffield, had a meal and went to the cinema. We went to see Doubt, with Meryl Streep it was really good, would recommend you watched it.
I am currently working on my fairytale picture for the Fae Art show. It's quite a big one! I'm am enjoying painting big recently now that I have got into acrylic. I am doing Alice in Wonderland, not the most original but I already covered fairytales at Uni.
I have made a video of me painting this picture as I have just opened up a youtube account, thought it would be fun.
I submitted to pictures to Epligue the other day... I know I know, what was I THINKING!? But I thought I would just give it a go seeing as there are a few people with very stylized art on there, and something doesn't have to be realistic to be good, but yeah I know I have a lot to improve. Being rejected has actually helped me to try harder.
I posted a topic on shows and vending at Fae. As I did actually sign up to a faery show to sell my art but I didnt think I would get accepted so I had to email them back and say I can't attend. Theres plently of time for all that another time, but it is someting I look forward to.
Anyway... thats all for now, happy sunday.
