So, it's been months since I've updated this thing, so you'd think that I'd have tons of interesting information to write about. Well, as far as I know, I don't. Life's been pretty normal overall.
Still dating Nathan, which has been so much fun for me. He knows how to cook, which, if any of you have heard my cooking horror stories, you know is a fabulous thing! He's cooked any number of meals for me, including duck and pheasant and we're into grilling season already :)
Still coaching speech. We had a home meet on St. Patrick's Day which went quite well, I believe our team won 3rd place at our meet. We had Sub-sections on, i think, the 29th. They took place in Rockford and our team won First Place! We had somewhere around 17 entries go on to Sections. Sections was this last Saturday, the 14th. We were the hosts of this meet, which caused no end of stress for both Nathan and I. He swears he'll never host sections again... But we made it throug the meet, and we have one girl in Drama who got first place and will be advancing to State, which is this Thurs. and Fri. So that should be a good time.
Still working at Wal-mart. They are implementing a stupid new dress code which will make us all look like clones and we will then look like we work at Best Buy. We have to wear khaki to dark brown pants with Navy blue shirts. YUCK! Not to mention we can't wear sandals anymore!! I'm so sad!!
Got my ND teaching license about 2-ish weeks ago, and sent in the paperwork for the MN license. Hopefully that should come soon. Then i can finally start applying for jobs. If anyone knows of any teaching positions in Music or English that are preferably within 2-3 hours of spicer, let me know!!
My friend Sara finally got to come home with her baby William in the end of February. He was baptized on April 1st and is now formally my godson. He's super cute! And he's also finally off oxygen.
A girl I graduated college with and her mother were killed in a car accident this weekend. She was quite close to my roommate, Krisi; they were much like sisters. The funeral is in Mandan, however, and it is on Thursday, so it is not possible for me to go. It's really quite sad. She was a very smart girl, and I know that she could have done so many amazing things.
Hmm... brighter topic... Sara told me I was supposed to write something about Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans and how interesting they are. I'm not entirely sure why. But anywho, have any of you ever tried the grass flavored ones? I've always wondered if that's actually what grass tastes like. hmmm...
Anywho. I should really probably go to bed. I'm finally starting to get tired...
