I love birthday parties...
Well Rayne's birthday and party has come and gone for another year. I should not be nearly as happy about that as I am but being pregnant put added strain on it this year. I went way overboard on everything but I feel awful that with the baby arriving so close to xmas this year might end up pretty tight, so of course I had to make the b-day extra special. Did pretty much everything myself and in less than a week. We did a costume party with a halloween theme, of course. Bobbed for apples, pin the eyes on the black cat, guess the candies in the jar and gross "body part" guess were some of the activities we did. The menu turned out wonderful, she decided on a graveyard cake and it looked really good, did severed toes (cocktail weenies), witch brooms (fruit by the foot with pretzel sticks) worm burgers (cut up hot dogs on buns), a jello mold with gummi worms, purple potato chips (homemade) and some other little snack type stuff. THe kids had a blast but Rayne's dad had to go pick up a check so I ended up doing it alone and I found myself getting a bit short with the kids. Not at all my usual self but the preg has made me stressed and depressed and generally bitchy, can't wait to pop and get back to normal lol...
On the pregnancy note, I have concluded that if cam chooses to act like a child and be the ass he has been then he can go his own way if that is his wish. I am done trying to show him how easy it could be to just not be a dick and get along with me and parent this child, so he has made his bed and i hope he enjoys the razor blades when he lies in it.
