Day 1- The Vacation Journal
We'll today is day 1 of my vacation. I've been on vaca since friday at 2pm but i'm not counting the weekend. LOL i think only the weekdays count. I just mapped out my trip to Darien this morning for my day at the "Red Door Spa." I don't really want to go. I wanted to just stay in bed for a while longer, then get up go for a walk, lay by the pool and chill. Why did i decide to book this thing on my 1st offical vaca day? Oh well. I'm going to go and enjoy my spa day. Then i'll get my coffee at starbucks and venture to stores in darien that i can't afford and maybe connect with my friend Agnes.
I never get to see her anymore. Back in the day... I got married/ divorced lol, she got married and still is somehow not divorced but anyway, we can never seem to find a minute to see each other. She is going back to her country, Hungary, for a month and a half the 1st week in August and I want to see her before she leaves.
I'm so horrible at keeping in touch with people. I'm not big on the holiday card sending. I can't even find the time to return emails sometimes let alone keep up with LJ and myspace. I have been unpacking, organizing and throwing sh*t out like its my new career. I figure since i spend so much time in my new place i might as well make it my home. Home is where you lay your hat or in my case my hats, shoes, and 50 million purses and collectibles and other crap collected over the years. I can't seem to let sh*t go. No more i say. Let someone else take my crap and make it their treasure lol. This week is ebay week. The rest will be dumped.
Tricia wants to have another tag sale but if i have to lug all the sh*t we want to sell again and then lug the sh*t we don't sell back home i'll scream. We can't have a tag sale here at the condo until next year when they have their annual complex group tag sale so we would have to lug all our sh*t to her moms in stratford or my moms in trumbull and then back again if need be. Well I say "F*ck that sh*t!" Ebay it all or throw it out!
Anyone know of any other places to post items that i want to sell other than ebay, craigs list and the usual newspaper classifieds?
