black friday

Nov 28, 2008 15:06

today Old Navy was filled with hot young men. I believe it may be the only day that boys will allow themselves a full-fledged shopping trip into our store without feeling strange about it. Hot men everywhere, all over the place. IT WAS CRAZY!

also, through 7.5 hours of checking people out I only had 2 people be ugly to me. And one was just a biatch from the get-go (gitgo? getgo?): never looked me in the eye, never smiled, barely spoke, she was mean to her daughter. The second laday was very distressed that I didn't notice her black fleece gloves lying the bottom of a black bag and got a 'tude when I apologized and said we would have to process the gloves on a seperate transaction. OH NO! 1 more MINUTE!

I also scared a child. Well, not a child, a 15 year old (maybe) boy. And I didn't scare him so much as oogle him. He was far too hot for 15 and far to tightly dressed in his emo/scene kid skinny pants and band shirt for the muscles and erm..eh-hem..uh...other body part he had on him. And I don't think he was scared...cuz after i had sexed him up with my eyes I saw his face, noticed he was just a baby, and was horrified at the teenage hormone face he was looking at me with. His Mom was oblivous. She and I talked about cute scarves.

ADVENTURES IN RETAIL!

Black Friday does not top a busy Tuesday night at Miyako.
