Rob and I ventured forth to take care of some errands today. I found the salon supply place that was suppose to be an option for us to send our therapist. After their first impression, I think NOT!! The sales girl had no idea what the "massage products" were and then she had no idea if she had cream, so after I looked around and FINALLY found the creams they had I took one up to purchase only to be denied since I didn't have my license with me. I didn't know I needed it and it kind of pissed me off that this clueless girl was keeping me from completing my first task of the day. Driving away Rob told me to call the Rep so I did and he begged me to turn around and go back. He said he would call them...aparently I should have told them I was with the Spa and not just that I had been conversing with The Rep. So I went back, bought the cream I wanted, but still...not a great first impression and there were none of the promised free samples so I think I will probably just buy online from now on and just skip the whole hassle of dealing with those people again.
Next I left Rob at a Civil War place and split my check into two accounts so I can pay my taxes with out a total freak out next year. After a quick look at the expensive but lovely swords my husband craves we piled back into the car and went to Taste of Thai for lunch. It was ok....I don't know..it just wasn't as nice as the other thai place.
Next we drove down to Herschel for flee control and wormer for the kitties...and the on to Town Center for hair cuts. We stopped of in B&N for the Anne Bishop book I've been wanting as an Easter present from my hubby since I bought him The Ark of Truth Stargate movie and a chocolate bunny for his Easter gifty goodness.
Finally a stop at home to unload the purchases and so I could potty and to play some video game time together. Then to Publix for the supplies we needed for cooking at home this week and to feed the kitties and bunnies.
Then the fun began. We had to round up all the cats and give them their wormer and put the flee control on them. There was much sneaking around and some snarling and a bit of frustration, but we managed it.
Oliver isn't feeling well. I noticed that his breath didn't smell normal kitty/fishy on Friday or Saturday and now his right eye is a little weepy so I gave him some antibiotic today and will do so tomorrow. If he's not better tomorrow he's got a vet trip coming on Wednesday. I'll call in the morning to see if Riverside can see him.
I'm in at M.E. tomorrow for the last time...I think. Linda says the contractors finished up with the airconditioning today and they should start painting and putting in the carpet soon so hopefully we are finally getting closer to being ready to open the massage side of things.
Ok bed for me...I've been watching shows on how to "green up your life" and ignorance is bliss...deadly bliss, but still. The more I learn the less I like the things that are so readily availble.
Sleepy!! At least I got a cup of peppermint tea in before bed.
