(no subject)

The next day, Will came to see my at my hotel. He wasn't impressed with the room I had, but didn't say anything about it. It was rather small, but it had a little kitchen and the bedroom was in it's own space, separate from the small living room. As he sat in one of the chairs, he sighed. "I think Ari is a bit uncomfortable around you."

I blinked and sat on the couch. "Why?" He only shrugged, then changed the subject.

"I talked with Edward the other night."

"Really?" I smiled. I loved Edward dearly. He had been "star" in the movie Will and I had done together, but he didn't like the term very much. He was somewhat of a recluse which made him all the more appealing to the public, and after this movie came out, people couldn't get enough of him. While filming, he had tried to get Will and I together on occasion, and had been quite protective of me, treating me like a little sister. "How is he?"

Will nodded. "Quite well, apparently. Some entertainment network has nominated him for entertainer of the year."

I stretched out on the couch and giggled. "I'm sure he was pleased with that." Will smirked. "Last time I talked with him was about three weeks ago. I think his wife was sick."

"Well, apparently, she then passed her bug onto the baby, then Edward, and now they're all wonderful."

"Good to hear." Silence settled on us, save the TV that was playing a quiet movie in the corner, and he looked down. "What is it?"

"Well, the movie opens soon. And to be perfectly honest, I'm a little nervous."

I sat up and raised an eyebrow. "What are you nervous about? Will, everyone loves you. You have girls throwing themselves at you on a daily basis. Your face is on almost every cover of every magazine."

"That is precisely the point. What if I let people down?"

At a loss of what to say, I threw a couch pillow at him. He caught it easily and grinned, throwing it back at me. I, unfortunately, was not as quick and it hit he in the head. Grabbing the same pillow, and another, I threw both at him and launched a random pillow fight. It ended with him pinning me on the couch. I squirmed out of his grip and he stretched out beside me. The cushions were barely long enough for both of us, but he didn't seem to care. "Don't worry about letting people down. I'm the one who should worry."

His brows came together as he looked at me. "Why is that?"

"I'm going to get hate mail because I get to kiss you!" He half smiled. "It's true. I'll never have any female fans, which, now that I think of it might not be a bad thing if all my fans are male."

At this, he laughed. "Who knows how well it will do."

I turned on my side so we would fit better. "I think it will do brilliantly."

He turned on his side as well so His back was to me, and we stayed that way for a little while, watching a movie in which I had no real interest. He reached back and grabbed my hand, pulling my arm to drape over his side. When a commercial interrupted the movie, he turned to his other side, hiding his face in the crook of my neck and shoulder. I closed my eyes, forgetting everything else in my life. But not for long. I remembered Arianna about the same time he did, and I sat up.

"Would you like something to eat or drink? I could call room service."

He sat up and ran a hand over his hair. "No, I have to get going soon. I have a lot to do today." Standing, he looked anywhere but at me. "What time are you leaving Friday?" I blinked, not able to think. "For Florida...the premier party."

"Oh!" I shook my head, trying to gather my thoughts once again. "I want to be down there by noon, so early."

He nodded and went to the door. "Well, if I don't see you before then, I'll see you at the party." He finally looked at me as his hand turned the knob. "Bye..."

"Bye." When he was gone, I collapsed back onto the couch. What was I going to do?
