New Boy: Ordered
So I made a last minute kind of sudden decision regarding my doll plans. O_o I'm still planning on getting Clover this year so if any of you already bought or made something for her, it definitely will not go to waste. If I am able to buy her in March still, I will...or least buy her head, but Lacy is a bad influence and caused my plans to change.
Here's what happened. I was busy bemoaning the fact that I couldn't afford a SOOM Sard when they released him and I couldn't afford a Beryl, which I would have turned in to a boy, either. After looking at second-hand prices, which were like $1,700 for something that originally cost just over $700 blank, I decided that would never happen...even if I wanted it badly. D: Soom released their December Monthly Doll, Heliot - God Master, at the end of the month and he will be available for order until the 14th, Korea time. I was really trying to figure out how I could possibly come up with the money I would need to put him on a 120 day layaway when Lacy....smart and evil person that she is, says, "Why don't you do a split? You'll only be paying for the parts that you want and everyone else will be paying for the parts you don't want." So I did it. Within a matter of days I had the buyers for the R.Head (the one with the horn), the regular hands, the bow and arrow and the wig/eyes/outfit (which I wouldn't have bought otherwise because they cost more). I also have someone who might be buying the human leg parts. I just haven't heard from her in a few days. Either way, that would come with the doll anyway and if nobody wants them, I will keep them or sell them off later. XD I will only be keeping the head that doesn't have the horn, the body w/hooves and the "master hands." They're the ones that look all spindly. XD
SO~The first payment has been made and I will hopefully be paying him off with my school money in March. If I can do it earlier I will since I want him to arrive in enough time for me to work on his face and hooves before A-kon. I'M SO EXCITED! SERIOUSLY!

:3 I know it will be a little difficult to buy clothes for him since he won't be able to wear long pants. He will only be able to wear shorts and stuff. I have found some shorts and knee-length pants that I want to get for him later. ^_____^ I'm so happy! I wouldn't have done it, but it was a great way to get my boy with hooves. Especially since I don't know what SOOM's future plans are regarding producing more dolls like this once the whole astrological signs theme is complete.
In other news...classes started again on Monday. Critical Thinking and Essay Writing. D: Only eight more weeks. lol I got 100% on both of my other classes though! Yay!
What else? Bought our BLOOD tickets yesterday. I'm trying to decide if I want to preorder their last CD or wait and see if they have it at the show so I can buy it there and get it signed. If I order it, it won't arrive in time. But it's limited to 1000 copies so I don't want to miss out. What to do.....
Well, I need to work on some other stuff and put my laundry away so I will end this for now. Only a couple of you care about dolls anyway. XD
