[A slow humming can be heard as the transmission times in, along with the slow steps of booted feet. The faerie sighs.]
They’re gone as well, are they? I… can’t say I’m surprised… It’s getting closer and closer, but a few days away now… Is anyone I know still here, or have they all disappeared while I was asleep? Christine, are you still around?
[The footsteps pause and she resumes humming. The elevator beeps it’s arrival and she steps in yet again.]
My apologies for the café being closed for this long, I’ll be there now if anyone would like a drink or dessert of some kind. The beverages were Evie’s special, though I’ll do my best in her place…
