While it did keep me guessing for a little bit what was really going on, the book seemed to drag a little for me. I found that odd since the whole fallen angel/nephilim thing interests me.
I'm putting a little of it down to the possibility that the fact that I am temporarily housebound due to a wrenched back had some bearing on my enjoyment of the book.
I borrowed this and the sequel from the library.
