Goodreads.com Review :: Quick (& a little dirty)

Oct 13, 2010 15:37

I've hit another dry spell with reading (& posting reviews since these have been read for awhile), but my intention is to re-read Hunger Games next and then read Catching Fire & Mockingjay. Maybe after this upcoming weekend of insanity. I still haven't reached my New Year's Resolution, but I think the Hunger Games Trilogy will help me surpass last year's number of books read.

Tracking the Tempest by Nicole Peeler

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Still love it for all the same reasons as the first. Just an enjoyable read with interesting characters. It also seems like I am going to get my way as far as ships go in the next one. ;) I do so love getting what I want.

Eat Prey Love by Kerrelyn Sparks

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I definitely liked this better than the other books in the series so far, but I think part of that was the fact that I really wanted to get to Carlos' story. More and more I think that I enjoy forms of shifters more than vampires. haha. It's a joke at work that I like my men WARM

It's all pretty good, solid PNR. The author makes me laugh (though not as much as some others) and that is always a plus sign in my eyes.
