+ If we have never talked somewhere around the interwebs, I'm not currently friending. I do make exceptions for people I enjoy talking to at communities and who also make an effort to be friendly and neighborly.
+ I don't friend everyone who asks...I would rather have a list of people I keep up with and who keep up with me. QUALITY versus Quantity. I'm not looking for a large number of friends. I like to get to know my friends, and I like for them to get to know me. Livejournal and friendship are two way streets.
+ If you've been cut, don't be offended. Obviously we weren't clicking or hadn't connected in ages via comments... Or you stopped updating. Or we never talked. Etc. I don't make 'omg friends cut' posts, because I think they are lame. You're still a cool person. It's not you, it's me. Etc. Also there's always the opportunity to reconnect in the future or in various communities we share.
