All other entries I've been reading seem to have something interesting to say... hm.
Well! Yesterday I looked outside the window in my in-laws' kitchen and I saw a HUGE red balloon with an old-fashioned basket underneath it, and all the sandbags and whatnot. I was, needless to say, amazed. I quickly found my boots and coat and ran outside to investigate. Inside the basket were 12 little green men, 4 runt pigs, and 3 small children. Oh yes, there was also a navigator. Human, adult, male. I hopped inside and we rose just in time for the beautiful Indiana sunset. There was a huge, dark cloud and the sun was underneath it, looking like the little fireball that it is, and above the huge, dark cloud were little smatterings of white poofy ones. Underneath the sun was another slightly less dark cloud. The sky above it was a beautiful, clear blue, and of course there were tinges of orange and pink between the two layers of clouds around the sun. Also, between the clouds, on either side of the sun, were two very short rainbows. It was fantastic. Soon we landed again in the Swinford's back yard (just missing the trees) and I thanked the navigator, the children, the pigs, and the little green men. Then I went back inside and got ready for the open house.
Which was nice. Not that awkward, just a little. I FINALLY got stains on my dress (good thing it waited until now, the final reception). Jared stuffed very yummy chocolate cake in my face. I indulged him, but I didn't do the same. Just kissed him. Share the mess, I say. Not really. Also met Jared's favorite ex. Strange at first, but then I made myself have a friendly conversation with her. The fact I was talking to her wasn't strange, it was the conversation part that was weird for me. I usually don't put myself out like that. No need to explain that, we all know that story.
Anyway! Now today is our last day and we'll be returning to our Utah apartment soon. Only 4ish months till Jared graduates. We decided it would be more logical to live close to one of our families after the fact... should save some travel money/time. Now which one? Heh I have a feeling it will be closer to Indiana simply because of expense of living, initially. We'll see. We don't even know the options yet. I love Indiana, but it's pretty far away from everyone I know. Even my cousins/etc. living in So. Carolina are fairly dang far away.
New pastures, nervous horse. At least the grass is green.
