*ruefully* Anyway, the real gift was the haiku. You would not believe how long I spent trying to make the silly thing come out right. I'm terrible at poetry.

Online shopping together is such fun! It's always so entertaining. One wouldn't think it could be - I mean, one isn't even really with the person one is shopping with - yet it works splendidly. Go figure.

Your icon just reminded me: A funny thing happened at work this morning. Er, yesterday morning. I was stocking the staff kitchen, and more and more people kept coming in until there must have been a half-dozen of us congregated there, gossiping away about the food and the coffee (it's vile) and the office manager. The next guy who came in laughed and said, 'It's like something out of The Office! The kitchen is our equivalent of the water cooler.' It made me laugh and think of you.
