vampires, beware!
So, lately has been kind of terrible. I'm not entirely sure where time went and there were a couple of really bad days in which I could not summon up the willpower to do anything, even, say, watch television. Today and yesterday I at least seem to be swimming with the current rather than against it, so that's... better. But look, I made a thing!
My mother found the framed seven bulbs of garlic at Goodwill (?!?! -- further proof that this town is host to supernatural shenanigans, if the alleged mouth of hell in the community theatre and the Forbidden Basement in the high school and the nearby town in which it is always and forever raining isn't enough) and... immediately thought of me. Which is hilarious or cause for worry, you pick. (I pick awesome.) Wholly accepting of the fact that her eldest child is a freak, she made me a present of it -- and I made the sign, to make clear its true purpose. It is now hanging on my wall above the side of the bed (along with charismitaine's tentacled courtier, burningstarsxe's Steampunk Debutante print, a coffee-is-awesome texturey picture from lady_moriel, and photographs that midenianscholar took -- my walls make me feel happy and loved!).
