new kitty
I picked up "Minnie Mouse" today...another Siamese kitty who is actually a cousin of my Phineas. She's his age, but is smaller. I may continue to call her Minnie, since she responded to it, but I'd prefer a more creative name. For the first 3 hours, she walked around and cuddled with me and Jason and was overall cute. Phineas followed her everywhere she went. Finally, she settled into his Pyramid bed,which he rarely uses. He put a paw in to visit, and she slapped him and became a wild little beastie. I got a scratch on my hand because she slapped me when I tried to put a toy in the bed with her. She sadly had to sleep in the bathroom, as I only have a one bedroom apartment and there is no door to my room. We thought about keeping her in the room with us, but feared that she would pounce on us in our sleep or Phinnie would do something curious that would start a fight. She was sitting in the tub when I got up this morning. Poor little girl. I may have to get her a bed for herself, because EVERYTHING in the house smells like Phinnie. I wish I didn't have to leave both of them at home while I am at work...He's ready to be cuddly but she's scared...never been apart from the other 10+ kitties in the home. poor little sweetie.I can't even touch her without her growling and making angry kitty noises!
