First Mother's Day
I received my Mother's Day gift last night. DH bought me a new printer!!!!! My old one was an expensive POS that insisted that it was always out of paper and one time even told me that the paper had been inserted upside down and needed to be turned over (
sweet_pickles and
onetakemovie were witnesses). I am so excited because I can put the brag book together for Justin and maybe even finish our wedding scrapbook!
Justin decided to be a little angel for most of the day. The middle of the night nursing sessions went without a hitch or little boys staying up for hours on end. We joined my mother and the rest of my family for church this morning so my mother could show off all her new grandsons. Then we had a cake from Cold Stone Creamery at her house and let her open gifts. She gave each of us new moms a little book called Furry Logic: Parenthood which is just adorable.
Then we went to the in-laws for dinner. My SIL was there with her husband and the twins and it was really nice to see how big they've gotten. It was a very pleasant time.
Of course, Justin couldn't hold out forever, so we were a little squirrely on the way home, While I was on the phone, he had a major meltdown, and we figured out it was because the bedroom was too hot for him. We've made adjustments and the boy is sleeping right now.
Speaking of sleep, DH just cam in and is ready for bed--the computer is temporarily hooked up in our bedroom.
Anyway, today was everything I had hoped it would be.
