Our financial software was fixed today--until I broke it. Now we know that what I was doing is what causes the problem (restoring data from a previous version of same software crashes the program during the conversion). Will be fixed again tomorrow. And I will delete those nasty files that aren't converting

But I totally understand about the software issues - that's exactly what happened when we upgraded one of our programs - I went to access the archives to print off the tax reciepts (remember those? GAH!) and the database was corrupted. Tried all over again, and you betcha - corrupted again. Had to restart our database from scratch. What a pain in the butt! Thank god our church is only so big!

Your present arrived at the box. We picked it up yesterday, but I still haven't opened it. We are back in LA and it is still in the car.
I am using my green iBook, but haven't checked the back up drive to see what made it.
We go to San Diego for the day tomorrow.
I am honestly not sure how I am going to get through the next several days.
