Baby Blanket
I loathe making this blanket. This was my second time to do it, and while it turned out much better than the first version, I don't think I will make it again.
This blanket is for a little boy (the mother-to-be picked this afghan). I did make one variation. The border is supposed to be a scalloped edge and so in order to de-feminize it, I left the scallops off.
Come to think of it, she did select it back when she was wishing for a little girl and I can't help thinking it's a bit feminine still--even though it has "boy" colors in it too.
