(no subject)
It is a strange feeling to get up in the morning, get a shower, go outside to start your day and see people on their balconies, STILL partying! That's what happens when you leave at 3:30 in the morning! Yesterday was fun, although I had tons of bad luck! The tab inside my boot broke so I couldn't pull it on and I had to use Sarah's, I drew a little gray PONY that doesn't like to bend or go forward. He does, however, like to go UP - when we started warming up he went crazy and almost bucked me off. When we were actually being judged, he did as well as he could under our circumstances, I just wish we had more time to warm up, I think I could've done a lot better. I didn't place, but I did manage to get higher than the girl on the A team, I don't know how because she's really good. Jackie from St. Andrews acted as our coach, and it was kind of difficult to learn a new coaching style, a new horse, a new ring and new tack all at once, but it was so generous of her to help us as well as both of her teams. It was a good day all in all, and I think I'll definitely do better next time - too bad I don't have another chance this semester!
I need to get my butt in gear because I am failing organic chemistry. Or maybe not failing, I think it's a looooow D. I'm getting an A in lab though, woohoo! I just need to study my ass off for the next exam and the final, and oh yeah, go to class!
