(no subject)
I know...I'm really bad at updating this thing. So here's what's been going on.
I graduated from Tuscarora High School with honors on June 8. I did alot better there than I would have done at Coral Reef. I think I ended up with a 3.56 weighted GPA.
I moved to Rome, Italy on June 10 (finally). It's wierd here. People are rude and the traffic drives me nuts. Everybody smokes and is really tan. For some reason they hate air conditioning because they think it will make them sick. I think they're more likely to die from lung or skin cancer. There are gypsies here! They like to sit on sidewalks holding a little kid in one arm and a cup in their other hand. They're pretty easy to pick out in a crowd. They're very colorful.
I got a job as a summer hire at the American Embassy. I work in the mail room. I sort mail, deliver newspapers to certain people in the morning, deliver the ambassador's mail in the morning and afternoon and other random stuff.
I'll be starting at John Cabot University in the fall. There are only 2 American colleges in Rome and I liked this one the best. The other college wanted me to have already picked out my major and stuff but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do (their curriculum sucks). I'd already decided to go to JCU when they finally sent me a rejection letter saying I wasn't motivated enough. Lol. So JCU doesn't really have that much to choose from either but I think I've decided on majoring in Art History and minoring in Psychology (no major for it).
I just decided today to break up with my bf. It is NOT the whole long distance thing. I just...want to be free.
