(no subject)

You know what I love about Jane Austen? Everyone worthy ends up with the person he or she desires and deserves. Then it's all capped off with a wedding. That's all. The purpose is for them to make good matches; the wedding signals "happily ever after, the end." It's simple and clean. It's just so appealing to my sappy, romantic heart. I love it.

I have 17 items on my Barnes & Noble wish list, 7 of which are either sequels to "Pride and Prejudice" or novels in Darcy's POV. I've read mixed reviews about all of them, but I was wondering if any of you have read these. If so, what's your opinion? I should say that at this point I'm not an Austen purist, so if the language is a little off or the subject matter is a bit racy it won't bother me. Here they are:

Darcy's Diary by Amanda Grange
Darcy's Story by Janet Aylmer
Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentlemen: An Assembly Such as This, Duty and Desire, and These Three Remain by Pamela Aidan
Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife bu Linda Berdoll
Darcy & Elizabeth: Days and Nights at Pemberley by Linda Berdoll

I've seen the reviews at Republic of Pemberley, but I wanted opinions from people I know. So? Anyone?

Long live Elizabeth and Darcy!
