I need a job. Badly. I'm going to put an icepick through my skull if I don't start contributing to the funds of the household. Sure, I cook, I clean, I play guitar hero--- alright I'm sort of productive! But as much as Mick is gracious enough to pay the mortgage and keep food in the fridge, he can't support me. Car insurance, cell phone bill, medical bills... he may be Daddy, but he ain't no $ugar Daddy, and I gotta have some money in the bank to take care of these things. Every day I slip deeper and deeper into a fiscal black hole...
Good thing I have an interview Thursday. For a job that pays 15 an hour. I hope it all goes well. I hope it's a nice, somewhat fast-paced and challenging job, but not too stressful.
Oh and I got another random modeling gig that just sort of fell into my lap. I'm not even trying for the modeling thing, I'm in no frame of mind to pursue something like that and join in the sub-culture with all of it's potential for self-destruction and all, but hey, if I'm going to trip over random gigs that wanna pay me $100 an hour... it can't hurt every once in a while.
So red bear is still M.I.A. But Mick brought home another little buddy for me today, just out of the blue. He said it was calling to him in ToysRus, yelling that it needed to be taken home. And it did! It's perfect! It's a goofy-lookin' little lion with a scraggly mane. It had a little tag around it's neck and when I looked closely, it was for the star registry. Apparently, this scruffy little feline came with a STAR that you get to locate and NAME!
So, the lion told me his name nearly 2 minutes after I got my hands on him. I just got this incredible urge to screech "LeMonHEad!" when I snuggled him to my chest. So that's his name, but Mick said we should call him Lemy for short. Because he's a rocker like that.
But I'm still at a loss as to what to name my star?!
So tomorrow we meet the guy for the modelling gig, Wednesday comes my weekly visit with my family (ugh) and then Thursday is my job interview! Wish me luck :).
