Bouncingly Entertaining and Spectacularly Fun!

I refer to my weekend of course.
I shall admit that now I don't have a job it could technically be said that I only really HAVE weekends but that is most certainly not the point, not is the fact that I'm counting Friday and Monday as weekend too.

I had a jolly day on Friday wandering around White City with Simon and living vicariously through his shoe, book and watch purchases and eating steamed dumplings from bamboo baskets however, in the evenign I was really very glum so i decided to stay in rather than inflicting myself on others.
This was possibly a bad plan as by the time I gave up and went to bed I was so sunk in rigid and unfathomable misery that I couldn't sleep. When David came home, from what sounds like a very fun night, at around four in the a m I was so lost to my own pointless depression that I only moved when he started snoring and that was just to hit him (which is was useless as DrunkenStupor!David is unrousable as I should well know by now!), bad Christy.

So on Saturday my lovely David voluntarily cancelled his plans for geeking in order to cheer me up and we ventured forth into the world to buy me a desk and bounce on beds. We definitely need a new matress and possilby a new bed. We can't afford one at the moment, what with me being jobless scum and all, but we most certainly need one. Testing them out was very very fun and by the time we got home though we hadn't physically bought a deask (and after stopping by the tasty Chinese retaurant that has appeared around the corner from our house to test our will power) I was very very happy and set to sorting out the back room and generally getting organised with enthusiasm.

Sunday we were lazy and happy, David had band practice (which was less lazy) while I finished sorting upstairs and then we stayed up late playing Mario Kart against one another in bed. We're not entirely sure what we used to do before we got mario kart and a second DS but it's now a nightly ritual to race in bed before story time. Once davd settled down to sleep I discovered I was far too awake for that so I got back up and ended up staying up on the interwebs til around five. D'oh!

Yesterday I got up eventually and then spent most of my day talking to sibling via one means of communication or another. I also played dress up in preparation for going to Circus of Horrors in the evening. Outfit decided I ambled over to the Hobgoblin to meet up with convivial folk and drink cherry beer before making our way to the Hexagon.
Circus of Horrors was awesome. I did love it, even the bits where I was a little squeamish and stared at my knees rather than the stage. It was generally decided that the female contortionist/gymnast's spine was misshapen and she would have terrible health problems resulting from it later in life and also that the insurance must be an bitch with all that fire being blown around. I'm pleased they care enough to get the insurance as it really was totally awesome. Go see!

I know I've only posted days one and two of ATP and it's now over a month later. I have drafted day three but I'm a bit too lazy to put in all of the links. I'll do that later. Later may not be today. Poke me a bit.
If you want it then poke me a bit more and I'll do a proper Circus review.

For now I must continue with the great music listen in order to figure out what I want to vote for when I do my ATP Fans Strike Back voting this evening! Eeee!
