I'm willing to bet the reason a strike like that wouldn't be possible in the US would be the instant police involvement. The French can barely have a stable week without some kind of rebellion, which is how they get out their frustration as they always lose if they try to fight any anyone besides themselves. Rebellion is more accepted there.

Nice to hear from you again and find out things are going well. You are going to come back, right?
