(no subject)
Beautiful Saturday...supposed to get hot, but I'm thrilled. I LOVE the warm weather! I love being able to have the windows open...the dogs love being able come and go as they please. A few minutes ago Briscoe decided his purple doggie needed some fresh air, and took it outside. It's the only toy that repeatedly winds up outside. He doesn't really play with it out there...I think it's more like his security blanket.
Dyed some yarn yesterday; hated the first batch, but it's growing on me. Love the next two, though.
Rob comes home from Cali today. In fact, he should have just boarded his flight to Denver a few minutes ago. He lands in Philly around 5, so we'll probbaly have to miss his cousin's baby shower.
Cut back the bushes in the front yard yesterday; I need to pick up the pieces and take them to the backyard. And this is where I got lazy. Mainly cause I'd have to herd the dogs inside to open the gate to bring the wheelbarrow upfront. Mowed the back lawn; don't trust myself to mow the front. We have a big ditch up front, and I'm afraid I'll get stuck. Also planted strawberries in a hanging basket yesterday. I planted some last year, but I planted them too late in the season...grew a few berries, but nothing special.
