Today I'm working on my portfolio for Towson. In order to graduate I have to present a portfolio of the work I've completed, write a little intro for each section about how I've grown. The work is reviewed, I have to turn one in to graduate, however I can not be failed for it being shitty. They can't keep me from graduating based on the portfolio. Which means I have put it off to the last second.
Dr. Radius, the program director (and my advisor) is out of town, so the deadline was extended. I'm meeting other girls from the program for dinner in Towson tonight (which is an hour away), so I have to finish before I leave so that I can drop it off at her office tonight. I really hope the door to the dept is unlocked...perhaps I'll leave early and just knit in the interim...
Anyway, I was called by the advisor at UMBC last night; she asked me to forward my resume to her ASAP, so that it could be passed on to the person at MIPAR, who would probably call my for an interview for the DHMH assistantship. She also said she was meetin gwith the Hilltop Institute this morning, and would bring up my name for a possible position. Is she my new Dr. Radius? She seems very nice, so far, anyway.
