Wow.
I am living a charmed life.
A couple of weeks ago, I auditioned for choir and chamber singers. I was called back for both, and ultimately got into both. I'm really ecstatic about that.
Then, last week, I teaed for Shakespeare society. So on Thursday night, the entire society came and banged on my door and screamed, to let me know that I got in. And I am REALLY ecstatic about that.
All new members of the society have to be in the play their first semester. This semester, we're doing Titus Andronicus (blood and dismemberment and eating people in pies! Huzzah!). So I went and tried out for that; I don't really know the play all that well, so I didn't really care what part I got. I got Titus. I, a first semester firstyear, got the title role. Saying I'm ecstatic would not cover this. I'm still not entirely sure I believe it.
Oh, and there's going to be a staged reading of Richard II, Henry IV 1 & 2, Henry V, Henry VI 1, 2, & 3, and Richard III soon, and I'm going to be Richard II, and possibly other stuff.
So anyway, the point is, I am insane, and my life is amazing and amazingly full right now.
