Well, it's been a while since I updated here...
I leave for college in just under a week. Does this strike anyone else as strange? I can't believe it. In that time, I have quite a lot of packing to do. And I have far, far too many clothes, and I wear almost all of them. *panics*
I have a new computer! I just got it yesterday, and it is very nifty. Being able to sit on the couch in front of the TV, not plugged into anything, after always having a desktop, was quite exciting.
I am going to my mother's college, and I have been housed in the dorm she lived in all four years, and my roommate is from the same state as hers. This is very strange. Also, my cousin, her husband, and their baby son are moving to Cambridge, very near me, causing my mother to flash back to when she was at Wellesley and the aforementioned cousin was a baby, living with her parents in Somerville. It's possible that I'm taking the 'following in my mother's footsteps' thing a little too far. In all fairness, though, the only thing I actually had control over is the fact that I'm going to her college.
