I am fine.
Well, to be fair, I am regularly cycling between 'fine' and 'cranky as fuck thanks to stress and pain', but I'm doing my best not to show the second one too much as that's unfair on the housemates.
Surgery went OK, I was back on solids the next day although I still can't eat anything very hard or pointy. I have however developed dry socket in 1/4 holes (inflammation of the bone and nerve, untreatable other than painkillers) which sucks arse.
Because of this I have been approved for an extension on my thesis. Which is a massive relief because if I had to hand it in next week it was going to be pretty terrible (I could get it done for the first deadline, but not done well). Part of me is annoyed that I'm dragging it out because I just want it to be over already, but I have to do it properly or what's the point?
So now I have coffee, need to scare up some lunch, and then it's writing time.
