Talent Show
So overall i have got to say i have some pretty amazing friends.
Tonight Gavin and I sang "The Prayer" in the talent show. We lost to some guy who brought the entire musical theatre dept. to vote for him, but you know what, we did awesome and i'm actually really happy...not that we lost, but that all our wonderful friends and family sat there for two hours after we went up, just to vote for us. That was really nice of everyone. I'm also really proud of us. I'm also really happy with how we sang. I only changed one note which i'm pretty sure i blended in successfully. I mean, it was pretty difficult considering we changed so many things around. But anyways we both looked great, our friends are the best, and my mommy and daddy both gave me hugs and kisses which was nice...and so did Lexey, but ya'll know she can't keep her hands off me. lmao j/k i <3 lexey.
Oh and btw they called me Joanne by mistake. So now everyones calling me that. lol wonder how long that'll last. Yeah Alaina, now that you read this i'm sure you wont forget and you'll call me that the next time you see me. lol
So in other news, my Italian midterm was postponed to Monday and i'm soooooooooooo happy about that. Right now i'm supposed to be writing my english paper...but i'm not, tomorrow Heather and I are going to Gusman to see the Elixir of Love, and this weekend Maria is teaching me Ghetto Chica Latina 101. I have to be ghetto latin for a comic duet scene...and i can't do ghetto..i do prep...in every language lol. So anyways she gets to dress me and turn me into J-Lo ghetto fabulous which normally i abhor, but it'll def. be funny for the scene.
Next week is gonna be crazy. Monday will be my Italian midterm, Tuesday i have to perform my duet scene, take my aural midterm in music, and pick up the new Harry Potter movie which comes out on DVD that day, Thursday i get my RA final results, and Friday i have my second Psychology test. ALLL that before spring break. I CANNOT wait for the break.
Oh and i forgot to mention, My roomate and those three guy friends of hers that have been staying with us came to see me tonight. I felt so loved, i didn't think she was gonna come...let alone that they would too. It was really nice. I can't wait to go back to the room and see them when they get back from the Grove...i want to thank them...it meant a lot.
Last thing, i saw Nick tonight. He came at the end, he didn't see me perform, for which i was kinda disappointed, because i felt like when we were dating that he didnt take me seriously when i told him i was a singer...but w/e he's old news and i'm sure he'll do tech for a show i'll be in one day, so he'll see me then...when i'm better and i can rub it in his face hehehehee.
