I got my five questions from Sarah. The idea is that you comment and I give you five other questions to answer!
1. Make a case either for or against James Blunt.
2. Name three TV presenters you can't stand.
3. How many people in the world do you actually, wholeheartedly, like?
4. When you die, would you want the world to read your diaries? Do you want to be understood, or do you want posthumous privacy?
5. If it couldn't involve languages or maths, what would you want to do with your life?
God Sarah, you don’t make things easy on me do you??? Why not just ask how I would achieve world peace?! I might be able to answer that!! I am however, upset that I did not get asked the apostrophe question :(
So, here goes.
1. James Blunt. Dear God girl, I can’t work miracles…
2. Three TV presenters I can’t stand…
erm…Natasha Kaplinsky, because I don’t like her voice at all. I also don’t particularly like Fiona Phillips, because she thinks she is wonderful, when quite frankly her nose is annoying, as well as her over excitedness…she presents GMTV for goodness’s sake! And I can’t think of a third…I will get back to you on that one!
3. How many people do I wholeheartedly like? Hold on while I count…including family members I like, I think the answer is 21. Excluding family however, it goes down to 10. Oh. That’s not many. There are also people that I like for a bit of the time.
4. I have a small problem with this one. I don’t keep diaries as such, and the diaries I have kept are in a locked box, to which I have lost the key (In Cape Town Airport). However, I would not like people to be reading about me once I have died, so I think that I would definitely want posthumous privacy. Same as I would occasionally like some privacy whilst I am alive.
5. And last but not least…
What would I do with my life? I have no idea. I think that without maths and languages I would not be able to live. That does indeed sound weird. However, to me, maths encompasses everything to do with numbers, telling the time, cooking (since you need numbers), anything to do with money. Add to that that languages means generally the communication with other people, I think that without these two things, I would live a poor, hungry, sleepy existence, with no-one to talk to.
But I don’t think you actually meant that. So I will answer what I think you meant (you may tell me whether this is right or wrong). I think that I would be living a completely illogical existence. I would probably not be at sixth form at school, and would probably be more interested in music and art as subjects. I might even be able to play instruments. Maybe the drums.
So there. I will write more later, when I can be bothered to sit down and write something that is not a rant. Because they can be a bit scary.
