Hail to Young Cronos

... aka Father Time in his Youth Aspect.

We left town on a mushy afternoon yesterday, and arrived to see my soul family in their crystalline realm. There had recently been a snow and freezing rain storm, making it quite the winter wonderland. I really should not have left my camera at home - what was I thinking.

The evening was much fun with wine, food, family, card playing and silliness including belly chuckling and giggling fits. We slept at the home of the Soul-kin Matriarch and Patriarch and had a mellow visit with everyone today. We then drove home in a misty fog.

During the road trip I visualized driving a stake cruelly into the misfortunes of 2005 and burying them with a hatchett. Perhaps now the worst can be cleansed by the Earth and make food of itself for the living to rise from it's ashes and bring a fresh breath to the New Year. Even misfortunes can be turned around to facilitate blessings.

The New Year has dawned, and I wish many blessings of compassion, health, comfort and security to all of us, those we love and every soul that struggles even more than we do. For they are in the greatest need.
