hold your breath, here we go...
Crossing my fingers and trying not to get my hopes up too high... I had been emailing an alumni from the college who was looking to rent out her house to 2-3 students starting this semester. Seems she just bought a house out of town with her fiance. She was going to give us one of the rooms for $300 and get another student for the other room for $200, but agreed to let us have the place to ourselves for $500... Shes out of town til Friday on a business trip, and is supposed to call me when she gets back into town so we can meet and if she approves of us, see the house. 2 br, mostly furnished, all utilities paid, including cable, lan line, and wifi. She doesn't care about the animals, just as long as they are house trained. and it apparently has a big fenced in back yard, and a 3 car carport... either I'm dreaming or this might possibly be real... If not we will likely move in with Tori and get her through her rent with keith if we can't talk him into letting her out of her contract so all three of us can look for a better place. I was trying to be optimistic about the place, but the landlord, which sadly is a friend, is completely taking advantage of her situation.

Called my DM today and left a message asking her to call me back... didn't get a return call, so i'll be calling again tomorrow to impress upon her exactly how important it is that my raise and all my retro hits on this check. Because honestly, after they didn't even bother to talk to or negotiate my raise for AGM before giving me the position without telling me... and she said she'd call me to go over job duties under that, and what the pay breaks down to... and hasn't yet... Thankfully we have 3 interviews set up Wed and shes supposed to be in to give them and see about getting us our 2 new co-managers... as the current co-nonbook is looking to get the hell outta dodge asap.

I've been watching a lot of netflix... the new ability to watch it on your wii or ps3 while waiting in between the movies you can only get on disc makes it pretty useful. and gives me something to do when there is nothing better to do and I'm going insane from not having anything to do... Is it bad when you're so used to not having a minute to sit down that when you do you get restless??

well... one more day of freedom then back to work... and then school in two short weeks... that however I am really looking forward to... ready to get back into my art classes xD
