putting out feelers
One of the things I use to love when I was growing up, was those tv shows where they would bring together fave actors from different series and let them enteract in a totally new setting as new characters, like the Love Boat or Fantasy Island, ya know?
So, for a while now, I've been thinking how cool that would be to do, but instead of having fave actors get together, fave fanfic characters from different fandoms get together on a weekly basis and play out a story. Say Rodney and Xander and Jim and O'Neill and Methos all in one story. Or a character (or characters) from CSI meet up with a character (or characters) from X-Files, just whoever, you know? Except it's all slash and each week it's the same setting (ala Fantasy Island) w/different stories and results. Sort of like a virtual slash tv show or something, like a weekly cross-over.
My problem is, even if I LOVE a character from a series I can't get into their heads to save my life, but I'm good at thinking up plots. So I'm putting out feelers to see if anyone would be interested in helping me w/this idea. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
