Saturday Surprises
About a week or so ago, I applied for a clerk's position at this new job corp center that was opening up. Every day for the past week or so, they've still been putting out adds on Monster, Careerbuilder, etc. for help, so I thought they'd looked at my application and decided I didn't meet their requirements.
Just a few minutes ago, however, one of the HR people called asked me to come in for an interview tomorrow!!! She asked if I had any HR experience, which I told her I didn't and said I was more interested in the clerk's position, but she said she thought that position was filled but wanted me to come in for an interview anyway. So, I'm gonna go, though I don't expect anything to come from it. :D But still, it was a nice surprise. And, who knows, I might get a job from it. *g*
I'll have to go shopping for a nice interview outfit tonight too. hee
